FPL Mini League Awards
Ten weekly awards, handed out for you every gameweek
Every mini league has a Gameweek Winner and a Wooden Spoon, they just usually live in someone's head or a half-remembered group chat message. The Mini League scores ten awards automatically, every gameweek, and keeps the running totals for the whole season.

What each award actually measures
Gameweek Winner
The highest score in your mini league that gameweek.
Wooden Spoon
The lowest score in your mini league that gameweek.
Bench Disaster
Whoever left the most points rotting on their bench.
Captain Fantastic
The best captain pick in the league that gameweek.
Captain Calamity
The worst captain pick in the league that gameweek.
Differential Hero
The best score from a low ownership, off the radar player.
Hit Man
Whoever took the biggest points hit on transfers.
Transfer Fumble
When the player you sold outscores the player you bought.
Climber
The biggest rise up the mini league table that gameweek.
Free Faller
The biggest drop down the mini league table that gameweek.
Handed out the moment a gameweek locks
As soon as scores are final for a gameweek, the app works through all ten awards for your mini league and drops the results into a recap card: who won the gameweek, who picked up the wooden spoon, whose bench cost them the most and who fumbled a transfer by selling a player the gameweek before they exploded. There is no manual step and nothing to tally up yourselves in a spreadsheet at full time.
A season-long trophy cabinet and hall of shame
Every award a manager wins adds to their season totals. The good awards, Gameweek Winner, Captain Fantastic, Differential Hero and Climber, build a trophy cabinet. The rest, Wooden Spoon, Bench Disaster, Captain Calamity, Hit Man, Transfer Fumble and Free Faller, build a hall of shame. Over a full season that turns into a genuine record of who has actually managed well, beyond just where they finished in the table, and it gives leagues running forfeits a fair, automatic paper trail of who deserves one.
Awards work alongside the live table
The weekly awards sit on top of the same live table used across the app, so a manager climbing the standings during a gameweek and a manager picking up Climber for that same rise are describing the same movement from two angles. If your league is deciding what happens to whoever ends up with the most Wooden Spoons over a season, the guide onfantasy football forfeits has twenty five loser punishments ranked from mild to brutal.

Do the awards work out automatically?
Yes. As soon as a gameweek locks and scores are final, all ten awards are calculated for your mini league without anyone having to work anything out by hand.
Where do the awards show up?
In a weekly recap card for the league, and each award also adds to a running season total held in the trophy cabinet and hall of shame.
What is the trophy cabinet and hall of shame?
A season-long tally of every award each manager has won, split into the good ones, the trophy cabinet, and the bad ones, the hall of shame, so bragging rights and forfeits both have a paper trail.
Can awards be won more than once by the same manager?
Yes. There is no limit: a manager who consistently under captains will keep collecting Captain Calamity awards, and it will show in their hall of shame total.
